WHAT'S HAPPENING @ APOSTLES?
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), also known as the silent killer, has an 84% mortality rate. Most people who have an abdominal aneurysm that erupts are unlikely to have enough time to call for help. These diseases can be detected and stopped with a simple 10 minute test.
Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) is a strong indicator that you will suffer from a heart attack because of blockages in your lower extremities; and for this, you will take an Afib test to test your heart rhythms. If your heart is not beating the proper beats per minute this could lead to clots which lead to stroke.
The last test is osteoporosis. One out of every two women will suffer from osteoporosis and if it is detected, treatment is available to rebuild your bones.
You may think that your physician would order these screenings if they were necessary. However, insurance companies typically will not pay for screenings unless a person has suffered symptoms. Unfortunately, 50% of stroke victims have no symptoms. That is why having a Life Line Screening is so important to keep you and your loved ones healthy and independent. Sign-up for all four screenings and pay only $129! You must pre-register so please see the sign-up sheet in the Annex today. No money is due now and the call center will confirm your appointment within three days.
